For me, attending the Research and Concept Development Labs I thought was a perfect step for me in my art journey to go deeper into what art is generally and trying to discover myself and my own art. “What am I going to do with it?” “How will that work?” “How does research work?” and most importantly I think for me concept development. I would say the elements that I have gained the most from were exercises that had to do with listening to other people’s work and how they came to creation. The process they went through, for example, Molemo and Nare’s ‘Corner Loving’ experiments and train projects, listening to that gave me an idea of how some artist’s process looked like which was one of my goals I was looking for at that time.
